Contest: Best LPG graphic or
video! Hey LPG
Fans, THANKS. Over 100 dedicated
builders are out there. It’s neck and
neck. Each month more and more view
this page. Send a still
photo, video, or JPG graphic and have it posted here with your link! www.william.mostovoy@mostosoft.com. All submissions may have your consent to
post on www.mostosoft.com. Videos should be
under 10Mb. If you have a site or blog
include it for placement of a link here.
We can make beautiful music together. Life is
grand LPG fans. Two wheel design video. Or Cartoon

is the origin of Linear Propulsion Gear Cars.
Note the key is the OFF CENTER POST.
The loose fitting post makes good sense. With
Minor Rotator and Turbocoil: New Video Link of it
going! It’s a If you love it. Let us

Retro-Looking body would suit the application
Figure 2 Mock
of an LPG Foot Pump For those building at home. Mr. M. has crafted one out of spare parts. It
really works, See it go at <Play the
video> OK now
we see our parts for LPG. Note
that the electric motor has a gear on it.
This is not direct drive. This
is a better option. Mechanical advantage
kicks in on geared things. The Mona
Lisa portrait showed the essence of both the subject and the painter Leonardo
DaVinci. DaVinci worked 500 years ago
and created detailed designs of mechanical objects of his day. From War tools such as the Catapult, to
Lens Grinding tools to many other theoretical machines like the Air Screw
that give the idea of a helicopter, they clearly showed how engineering
designs would look from that point forward. An
exhibit is touring the One idea
the Rotational to Linear motion machine shows a machine with the off center
post idea! Was that DaVinci or an over
and back attribution, we may never know but the exhibit truly impresses the
engineer of any era. So for
the kids the post of 7-24-2016 was to inspire a 5 step assignement in Linear
to Rotational motion. 1)
Cut out a cut sheet 2)
Prove the up and
down linear motion produces a rotation.
(Seeing the exhibit or exhibit video would help) 3) Create an animation of the mechanism 4) Create a physical model of the mechanism 5) Show in a video animation of the mechanism driving a cart Promise of tomorrow. 6) ENVISION or Do create 2 Linear Propulsion Carts and race them 7) Using foot pump orbital centripetal and a play pedal animate a car going with it 8) Create a working concept car that goes with the Play Pedal and Foot Pump Orbital Centripital 9) (**MrMostoman YouTube Channel has the animation of many of these ideas) Thanks
everyone and hope you get those DaVinci books, visit the exhibit and do some of
the project. 7 If any
of you have a special artistic person or teacher, the assignment is to
duplicate the LPG video of your choice.
The quadricycle has been viewed over 300 times. (Practically gone viral in Bill world) This is the “Cut Sheet” please boys and girls moms and dads print
out the cut sheet and create your LPG Quadricycle videos. Remember simple video rules, the time of a
video is key 15 sec, 30 sec or 60 sec or 90 sec. The Mechanism has origins in Leonardo Da
Vinci’s work over 500 years ago.
Internet searching on Da Vinci machines may get you started. Here is
that cut sheet. (Mouse over use the
Right Mouse button and print. MS

project before materials.
Apologies. Box cardboard not
advised. Did not have mini carriage
bolts. To show in ways out ways. Assignment:
For Middle School (*with help) High School and College If your
spindle gear rotates 3 times per second and you have a rear gear connected in
a 1 to 1 ratio with a wheel of 24” (60cm Diameter) What
speed would the bike or cart be traveling.
Then figure out the 1:2 and 2:1 ratio answers. Remember
if a diameter of D, C=Pi * D C is the circumference or distance covered in
one rotation. 1:1 3 rotations * 1 sec = 3 C/s * 60*3s/1min* 60Min/hr =
648000cm/hr *1m/100cm = 6480 m/hr =
6.48kph The
advantage of gearing can be proven.
Think of the 10 speed cycles available on bikes.. There is
online help called http://www.bikecalc.com/ Cadence is RPM go ahead and fiddle with
it. Rim sizes are limited. So first set your target speed 30mph then
your cadence 180 (RPM) then note the gear it would have you in say 46:11 about
4:1 Kids be
careful. They would be fun to race You
could calculate the speed on an unloaded test machine |
